Morehead’s vast experience in the outdoors, hunting, competitive archery and the archery industry spans decades. The inventor of the Eliminator Pendulum archery sight—the top-selling pendulum hunting sight for many years—Morehead also holds 12 world archery titles, one world rifle title, and he was listed in the 1992 Guinness Book of World Records for the Distance Broadhead Shot. He was the co-founder of the Archery Shooter’s Association, and he was the host of the popular outdoor show “Stayin’ Safe with Jesse & Ginger.” With more than 35 Pope & Young whitetail deer, as well as numerous record book elk and black bear, Morehead is quite the accomplished hunter.

“Jesse understands the industry as well as our products and our mission,” said Wydner. “He has always been a leading advocate for treestand safety, and we are excited to have him as part of the Hunter Safety System family.”

A Georgia native, Morehead now resides in Alabama with his wife Ginger.

“I’m very excited to apply all the experience I have gained over the years to help Hunter Safety System grow its business while helping hunters stay safe across the country and around the world,” said Morehead.
